About the service

How the cost is calculated

Inside Kyiv the price is made up of van dispatch, the hourly rate of the van and the hourly rate of each loader. Mileage within the city is not metered and the minimum booking is two hours.

Extras — dismantling and reassembling furniture, packing, carrying up without a lift — are billed separately on the basis of the work actually done.

How long typical jobs take

  • bringing a sofa home from a warehouse — 2 hours, a van and two movers
  • moving a one-room flat — 3–4 hours
  • moving a two-room flat — 5–6 hours
  • moving a three-room flat — 7 hours or more
  • furniture delivered from a warehouse and carried upstairs — 3 hours
  • construction waste — one trip with disposal, on request

Why cheap adverts often cost more

Classified boards are full of offers like "van, 200 UAH an hour". In practice dispatch, fuel, waiting time in traffic and "over-limit loading" are added on top, and the bill ends up twice what was quoted.

We name one figure and stick to it. If the job takes less time than planned you pay for the hours actually worked, subject to the two-hour minimum.

What is the minimum booking?

Two hours of van or crew time. It is the market standard: even a short run with loading and unloading rarely takes less.

Is there a weekend surcharge?

No, we have no weekend tariff. The price is the same on weekdays and at weekends.
